And what a beautiful walk it is, as you take your first stroll as a married couple, enjoying the stunning historic streets of Winchester and pausing for unforgettable wedding photographs along the way.

THE PERFECT CITY CENTRE VENUE

Forte Kitchen’s wedding space is made up of two beautifully designed rooms, The White Room and The Black Room, each with its own distinctive character. Available individually or together, they offer a flexible setting for intimate wedding breakfasts, receptions and celebrations of up to 100 guests.

There’s no traditional venue hire fees with our wedding venue. And definitely no fixed formulas! Just a beautiful space, thoughtful cooking, and the freedom to shape the day in a way that feels like you.

Whilst you soak up the atmosphere of your wedding and pose for official photos for the ceremony, your guests can wander ahead to our welcoming restaurant for celebratory drinks, just five minutes from the registry office.

The breathtaking Winchester Cathedral and its grounds, just the other side of Winchester High Street, also provide a stunning backdrop for timeless wedding portraits.

At Forte, food is at the heart of what we do, and our talented chefs craft menus that are as memorable as your special day. Whether it’s a beautifully curated sit-down meal, elegant canapés, or a relaxed yet refined buffet, every dish is thoughtfully prepared to reflect your vision and personal style.

A FULLY LICENSED BAR, DESIGNED YOUR WAY

Forte is fully licensed, and all celebrations are based around a minimum spend, which can be made up of food, drinks, and bar service.

We offer a range of ways to run drinks at your event, from fully pre-ordered packages to a full bar experience, so you can choose the style that suits your celebration.

We’ll help you choose the right drinks plan for your guest numbers and budget.

OUR APPROACH

We don’t charge traditional venue hire.

Instead, we use a minimum spend model. Rather than paying a large hire fee upfront, your spend goes directly towards the experience you and your guests enjoy on the day. Most of our weddings fall well within typical venue budgets, but with far better food and more flexibility!

This allows you to spend your budget on what matters most to you, whether that’s incredible food, flowing drinks, beautiful styling, or extra touches (such as DJs, Saxophonists, Flowers etc..). You can also choose to include a pay-as-you-go bar or guest contributions, allowing drinks purchased on the night to count towards your minimum spend. It’s a simple way to make your wedding more affordable, while still creating a full venue experience.

We understand that every wedding is different, and our team will always help you design something that works for your vision and budget all whilst delivering the award-winning 5* Forte experience.
